Top Dog Theatre is thrilled to have secured the use of the Merivale Lane Theatre, on the corner of Rossall Street and Merivale Lane, within the grounds of Rangi Ruru School.

The shows runs as part of the month of New Zealand playwrights, from 5th September to 15th September.

And with an absolutely stellar cast – made up of several fully professional actors, director Derek Doddington is thrilled to enter into rehearsals.

This is a show not to be missed. Tony Geddes has designed the set, Joe Hayes is lighting designer and 6 actors play 13 characters, spearheaded by Emma Cusdin playing the 9 year old Perry, along with Annette Thomson, Jonathan Broom, Sylvia Barnes, Tom Trevella, and Toni Jones.

From the original “prize winning” book, written by the wonderful Kate De Goldi, the stage play was adapted by Jane Waddell, and has already received wonderful reviews and praise at its opening run and performances in Wellington.
