Following the triumph of Richard III in February 2025, Top Dog Theatre returns to Mona Vale for this year’s Open-Air Summer Shakespeare with Shakespeare’s great comedy, The Merry Wives of Windsor. Come and laugh yourself silly as Top Dog Theatre performs this great classic.

What a fantastic opportunity to see one of the world’s most famous plays. “A true but cut and pacey performance”, says director, Derek Doddington. With a top class cast, The Merry Wives of Windsor will be for all ages and easily followed and understood.
Set in the idyllic Mona Vale gardens, this is a chance to lay out the picnic rug and soak up the early evening sun. The script has been cut and will be Shakespeare in its most viewer-friendly form!
Warning: this play contains side-splitting laughter, with women’s underwear and linen sheets being thrown in all directions.
